Puppy Health Protection

BUYER AGREES TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS  

1. Veterinary Examination: The buyer must have new puppy examined by a licensed Veterinarian within 1 week of delivery/pickup. The failure of this will result in the cancellation of this guarantee. Your puppy shall receive proper and necessary amounts of exercise, including off-leash puppy play, while avoiding vigorous exercise, long walks or lots of stairs for the first year to  allow for bone and joint development.  
2. Ongoing Veterinary Care: The buyer agrees to provide annual vet exams, including heartworm checks and preventatives, and to do appropriate vaccinations as indicated. Failure to comply with and provide documentation of these requirements voids ALL guarantees. Puppy will receive booster vaccinations when appropriate, and will receive all necessary veterinary care to maintain its good health. 
3. Socialization and Training: As breeders, we expect that this puppy will be properly socialized and have obedience training. The buyer agrees that there is no replacement for temperament, as this is environmental and is the buyer’s responsibility. As responsible breeders, we do everything possible to breed quality dogs of sound mind and body. Some responsibility is the buyer's as to proper feeding, exercise, training, and socializing, all of which have a bearing on the end results of a sound adult dog. 
4. Liability: Fieldstone Labs will not be financially responsible for expenses incurred or losses due to property damage, accidental injury, sickness, or death of other pets and/or persons resulting from contact with the puppy.  

Health Guarantees  

Fieldstone Labs guarantees the health of the puppy for 7 days after it leaves the kennel. We recommend that the puppy be examined by a veterinarian and a vaccination schedule be arranged during this time. Puppies determined to be defective or sick should be returned to the kennel as soon as possible for a full refund of the purchase price. The purchaser will be responsible for the transportation or cost of shipping the dog back to the kennel. If the owner elects to have the dog treated by a veterinarian for sickness or disease during the seven days in which the guarantee is in effect, the purchase price will be refunded or the vet bill paid up to the purchase price of the dog, whichever is less. Fieldstone Labs does not guarantee the ability or suitability of the dog to reproduce or be used for breeding. Puppies are not guaranteed for accidental injury, death or theft. Fieldstone Labs will not be responsible for vet expenses incurred exceeding the value of the dog.

Hip Dysplasia

Fieldstone Labs guarantees the dog to have hip conformation satisfactory for it to function as a normal hunting dog up to the age of two years. The purchase price of the dog will be refunded upon the return of the dog to  Fieldstone Labs or confirmation of hip repair surgery by a veterinarian.
