Forever Remembered
Honoring the lives that shaped our family and kennel.
In Memoriam
We honor the family who built Fieldstone Labs and the dogs who shaped our journey.
Robert Hook 4/12/1932 to 4/29/2021
Sierra Sue, Dad’s first Labrador, joined our family in 1970. Over the years, he shared his love of hunting with more than 30 dogs, creating countless memories. He passed shortly after his 89th birthday. We imagine him now enjoying ice cream, flying model airplanes, riding the four-wheeler with dogs waiting for him across the rainbow bridge, and, of course, mowing the lawn in his straw hat, boots, and his iconic tighty whiteys. His generosity, humor, and love for dogs continue to inspire us every day. When asked how he was feeling his reply was always, “I feel with my fingers.”
In Loving Memory of Marsha Gayle Hook August 25, 1937 – September 5, 2015
Marsha’s heart overflowed with love, nurturance, attention, acceptance, and empathy. As a spouse, mother, grandmother, friend, and devoted animal lover, she embodied all that is kind, gentle, and good. She was the #1 fan of her family, cheering loudly and proudly at every sporting event her children and grandchildren participated in, always front and center with a smile and a spirited “hoot-hoot!”
Brave, selfless, and unwaveringly positive, Marsha had a gift for seeing the goodness in everyone she met. She leaves behind her loving husband, Bob; children Rob, Kim, and Heidi; sons-in-law Mike and Fred; grandchildren Ryman, Ian, Charlee, and Roxy; and countless friends whose lives she touched.
Her inner light continues to shine in the hearts of all who knew her. Horses were her passion—trot on, Marsha!
